Motorola Xoom, the tablet originally shipped in with Honeycomb can now have the very new Jelly Bean (the Wi-Fi model already got an update to JB, but other model owners can enjoy Jelly Bean via CM10)! The WiFi Wingray, 3G Everest and 4G Stingray editions of Xoom have already had stable Jelly Bean builds. Now CyanogenMod 10 Nightlies have been released for both Winray & Stingray versions of the tablet.

Follow the steps below to flash this ROM :

  • Root the device and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
  • Have a Nandroid backup of your current ROM.
  • Wipe the data & cache partitions of your device.
  • Then flash CyanogenMod 10.

Users upgrading from earlier versions of CyanogenMod 10 will only have to perform a Nandroid backup and flash the new version of CyanogenMod.

The ROM is surprisingly stable and can be a good daily driver though it has some issues still being worked out.

You can download CM10 from here for both Wingray and Stingray models.
