Samsung Galaxy S3 is Samsung’s latest smart phone with a lot of features. Now if you wish  you can unroot your Galaxy S3 to get back the lost warranty of your phone, here is how. Below given are the steps to unroot Samsung Galaxy S3.

The following are the steps involved in unrooting the device:

  •  A first you should have a backup of important files
  • Then put the device in download mode by holding Vol Down + Power + Home for 10 seconds and press Volume Up to continue.
  • Check whether the Custom Binary Download is NO, If it says ‘Yes’ go to…0&r=-1#modelsa and download the latest firmware for GT-19300, if it says ‘No’ reset the binary counter and then download the latest firmware. If you have any doubt in resetting the binary counter read the following thread:….php?t=1494114
  • The firmware which you downloaded would be a zip file, extract it to get a .tar.md5 file and then install ADB drivers.
  • Connect the device to your PC via USB cable
  • Run Extract the zip file which you have downloaded and run Odin31.85. exe
  • Make sure that Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time are checked and click on PDA, then select .tar.md5 file.
  • Hit Start button and go to Settings -> About Device -> Status and if the device status says ‘NORMAL’ then the device is unrooted and if it says ‘MODIFIED’ continue…
  • Reboot the device into Android Recovery- Hold Volume Up + Home + Power until you see Samsung Galaxy S3 on the screen.
  • Then you just do a factory wipe and wipe cache and reboot the device from recovery menu.

Now you have your Samsung Galaxy S III back with the stock firmware.
