This time, we are covering the rooting tutorial for the Samsung Galaxy Ace on both Android 2.2 Froyo and Android 2.3 Gingerbread firmwares. On Android 2.2, the Samsung Galaxy Ace can be rooted using the popular SuperOneClick app and on Android 2.3 on the same device, it is through another simple flashing.

If you are running Froyo on your Galaxy Ace, then you root it using the guide given below (below link using SuperOneClick).
How To Use SuperOneClick To Root Your Device
If you are on Gingerbread, then use the following steps to do it.

2. Copy it to your SD card.
3. Press the Home and Power button.
4. Now choose update from sdcard and select the upd_1.zip file.
