Finally the Huawei Ascend P6, released back on June 2013, which runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean has been rooted. Thanks to XDA Senior Member lesscro, the root method he posted will get you superuser access to the device without any pain.

The root method is a pretty simple one and doesn’t involve anything much complex. Before going to try and get root, make sure that you have the necessary drivers installed.

Note: In case your PC experience any problem detecting the mobile software with root, install the Huawei HiSuite from their official site which will give you the necessary drivers for it to work.

Disclaimer: Rooting may void your device’s warranty, proceed at your own risk. We’ll not be responsible if your device bricks up to an expensive paperweight.
