We have already covered many rooting tutorials and resources, and in the previous article, we mentioned about the newly released Gingerbreak App and that’s what we are using here to root the Droid X2. Gingerbreak is a one click root tool with no complicated steps for rooting a device like the SuperOneClick app.
I am not going into anymore description. If you are looking forward to root your fresh Droid X2, then peep into the below steps.
NOTE: Do this at your own risk.
1. Download Gingerbreak APK and install it on your device.
2. Enable USB Debugging on your device Рgo to Settings ->Applications ->Development to do it.
3. Now run Gingerbreak and choose the Root option.
4. Once the process ends, wait for it to reboot and you can find Super User on your Droid X2.
