How To Root ASUS Transformer TF300T

The root method mentioned below is only for 9.4.3.17 firmware users. If you are on 9.4.3.26 firmware you’ll have to downgrade to 9.4.7.17 using this guide.

The app used for rooting ASUS  Eee Pad Transformer TF300T is Sparkyroot which can be downloaded from here.

  • At first install SparkyRoot app.
  • Then tap on ‘Exploit’, which will move the files around and replace the busybox file.
  • Open the ASUS App Backup tool and backup an app.
  • Return to this app again and click ‘Install Superuser’ to install Superuser app for grant root access to the applications.
  • At last click ‘Cleanup’, which will cleanup all the temporary files and revert the busybox file.
