Few days back, a Google Play Edition Galaxy S4 based Android 4.3 port (with build ID JWR66N) was out for the standard Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505). And now, there’s more new to rejoice, a root is now possible for the that build (and that build alone). The root comes from the popular XDA recognized developer Chainfire.

Chainfire cooked the root for this Android 4.3 port with a newer SuperSU version which comes with a newly added ‘daemon mode’ feature in which the app will be running when booting. Everything is expected to work fine with this new version, but some apps may face crashing. And no CF-Auto-Root is there since you already have used a custom recovery (TWRP and CWM works fine) to flash the leaked Android 4.3 build. So, before you move onto testing the root, take a look through Chainfire’s Google+ post.

Bonus Tip : Install Any Custom Recovery in 30 Seconds [One Click Tool] (if you haven’t installed one and are planning to).

You can download the installation file from Chainfire’s Google+ post or from the SuperSU thread on XDA. You can also post your queries on the same thread.
