The first release candidate version of the popular custom Android ROM, CyanogenMod, v7.1 is out and is available to install and use on all supported devices. It has added support to more devices, when precisely saying, Samsung’s Galaxy S, Captivate, and Vibrant, LG Optimus 2X, HTC Incredible S and Motorola CLIQ are now supported.

Just take a backup of you current settings before moving on to the installation process of CyanogenMod 7.1 RC1 as a measure to be on the safe side if some issue occurs after the installation.
