The CyanogenMod 10 has managed to bring the Jelly Bean goodness to a lot of devices. Now XDA recognized developer fattire has posted a CyanogenMod 10 port for Barnes & Noble Nook Color. This alpha build is actually the result of a joint venture of a bunch of Android developers.

Though an alpha build, it doesn’t involve much bugs and could be considered as a daily driver as all the essentials are fully functional.

Below we have some detected bugs which are to be fixed :

  • YouTube is only viewable in standard definition.
  • The home button does not currently wake the device.
  • Netflix doesn’t work.
  • No OpenGL.
  • Charging isn’t detected unless the device is awake at the time of being plugged in.

The above bugs doesn’t make the build unstable and the work of the developers is highly appreciable as it enables the Nook Color users to have the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in their device.
