CyanogenMod 10.2 has finally jumped from nightlies to Release Candidate. CyanogenMod team has started to roll out the RC1 builds of CM 10.2 (Android 4.3) to selected devices.

Users looking forward to update from an earlier CM 10.2 nightly or CM 10.1 can flash the new ROM over the existing one with no issues (you don’t have to wipe the cache. NOTE: You should manually take care of the third party stuffs like kernels, mods etc when moving from CM 10.1). But, do remember to take a backup of everything first and flash the right GApps.

CyanogenMod 10.2 RC1 Update

Only a few devices have received CM 10.2 RC1 at the moment. More devices are being added to the list.

To grab CM 10.2 RC1 for your device, move over to the downloads page and download the respective file for your device.

Android 4.4 KitKat is also around the corner for many devices; few have already received official and unofficial ROM supports. The CyanogenMod team has also merged Android 4.4 to their source. So, the nightlies for KitKat can arrive any moment as well. Stay tuned and join us on TwitterGoogle+ or Facebook for more updates!
