Samsung Galaxy Blaze 4G received root and recovery back on April, 2012. XDA recognized developer k0nane was the guy behind the root method and the ClockworkMod Recovery came from developer shabbypenguin. Now we have got some more good news for the Galaxy Blaze 4G users that the device has received both CyanogenMod 9 and CyanogenMod 10.

CyanogenMod 9 has been ported to Galaxy Blaze 4G by XDA senior member erikmm. The ROM is surprisingly stable and does not include much bugs.

CyanogenMod 10 M2 Build Available to Download

If you are upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9, then follow the steps below

XDA senior member dr4stic is the man behind the unofficial CyanogenMod 10 for Galaxy Blaze 4G. This ROM cannot be considered as a perfect daily driver as it includes a lot of bugs which are yet to be fixed. So, in order try the CyanogenMod10 port for the device, you’ll have to wait for some time until the bugs are fixed.

Meanwhile, the CyanogenMod 10 ROM developed by dr4stic for Galaxy Blaze 4G also works for Samsung Galaxy Exhilarate. Some bugs have been found with the screen orientation, camera and there are also reports of low call quality. Everything else seems to work fine and smooth.
