It was quite disappointing for some folks who were waiting for the release of Moto X to know that the device wasn’t gonna be running on the latest Android 4.3. Anyway, now we have a bit of good news for the ones who are unsatisfied with their Moto X (T-Mobile alone at the moment) which ships with Android 4.2.2. The combined effort of two smart guys at XDA has resulted in a flashable Android 4.3 build for the T-Mobile Moto X.

Android 4.3 for T-Mobile Moto X appears in the wild (test build)

XDA Forum Member TheOrangeRemix started up the whole thing by bringing an Android 4.3 engineering build for the T-Mobile Moto X. Later, XDA Senior Member jimmydafish advanced it into a flashable form; you can also root the build after flashing. Don’t expect the build to be super smart and bug free (this is just a test build). Just consider it as something which allows you to have a bite on the very new Android 4.3 and at the same time it also offers an improved camera experience.

Note: Flash with caution; a crucial mistake can brick the device and we are not responsible for any damages.

You’ll need to unlock your Moto X’s bootloader to flash the build. For the download links, the installation guide and the instructions to root this build, head over to the source thread at XDA. You may get your queries answered at the same thread.
